A Fair but Critical View of Poshmark as a Business

I have been on Poshmark since about March of 2022. I have a question; can you make money on Poshmark as a part-time seller? I think if you are just someone who has a lot of clothing and need to make room in you closet and want to get back a little bit from what you have spent on those clothes, I think Poshmark can be a great option. This also helps deal with fast-fashion clothing waste which is piling up in developing countries causing all kinds of environmental problems.

First, what is Poshmark? It is at the crossroads of social media and resale arbitrage. There are two types of sellers on this site, the casual seller that is just looking to move old fashion that they are no longer wearing. The second group is the professional seller, people that source new and used clothing for resale. I started in the first group and after some initial early success I decided to try the professional seller route.
