Very interesting article. I am a Canadian, but only speak very limited French as I live in the west, many thousands of KM from where the language is common in Canada. I have visited France 3 times, the last being in August 2024, right after the Olympics. I have never seen Paris so clean.

I have enjoyed every trip to France, maybe Canadians have a little more appreciation for French culture than most given our official bilingualism and exposure to French Canadian Culture in the most subtle ways in English Canada. In any event, I didn't find most of what you said to be an annoyance or any more of an annoyance that it would be relocating to any country.
